Data Retention & Export is our promise that your data belongs to you, always. We never delete user data, ever. Not when your trial ends, not when you downgrade, and not when you move to the Free plan. Your logbook, inventory, documents, costs and every other record stay safely stored, always available to you and always available to export. You own the data. We do the safekeeping and the data management, for you.
Your marine life is not held hostage by your plan. Come aboard, change course, or step ashore for a season: your data stays exactly where you left it, and you can take a copy whenever you like.
- We Never Delete Your Data: Downgrading, letting a trial end or switching to the Free plan never triggers deletion. Your records stay safely in the cloud
- Always Accessible: Whatever your plan, your data remains available to you to view, whether on the web dashboard or on mobile
- Always Exportable: You can export your data at any time, on any plan including Free, so you can keep a copy of your own marine history
- Plan Limits Change What You Can Do, Not What You Own: A smaller plan may mean fewer active features or lower quotas, but it never means losing your records. Anything beyond the limits stays intact and returns to full use if you upgrade again
- Switched-off Boats Included: Boats you have switched off remain in your account, and the export dialogue lets you include them, so nothing gets left on the dock
- You Are the Owner: Your data is yours, and the only person who can remove it is you
- Safe Keeping: Your data is hosted on secure servers and duplicated in physically separated data centres, so keeping it safe is our job and not yours
