The Files & Documents module is TheBoatApp's centralised digital repository for everything paper-related on your boat. Rather than relying on physical folders, scattered email attachments, or multiple cloud drives, boaters can store, organise, and retrieve every piece of boat-related documentation in one secure, cloud-backed location — accessible from any device, whether online or offline.
Document management software system functionality so that you may have central storage of all your boat-related documents (e.g. manuals, certificates, licenses, etc). These will be digitally available to you, always fully water and humidity resistant! Each of them linked to the respective record (e.g. inventory, task, etc), having accurate expiration date information so that you and your crewmates can be notified, ahead of time (pre-alert).
From registration papers and insurance policies to crew licences, safety certificates, manuals, invoices, and survey reports, the module acts as the single source of truth for all your vessel's documentation.
