Logbook
The Logbook is one of the core modules of TheBoatApp, designed to give boat and yacht owners a structured, digital record of every trip and on-the-water experience. Replacing traditional paper logbooks, it provides a centralised, cloud-backed repository where users can register departures, arrivals, routes, crew, weather conditions, and key operational data — all from their smartphone, tablet, or browser, whether online or offline.
Beyond simple trip recording, the Logbook becomes an invaluable historical archive of a vessel's life at sea. Over time, it builds a rich dataset that supports smarter maintenance decisions, crew accountability, insurance documentation, and even resale value. For charter operators, professional skippers, and leisure sailors alike, having a complete, tamper-proof, and easily searchable log is both a safety asset and a mark of responsible seamanship.
